Judging by what I have read, most British people will be happy when we have no car industry left.

The British Motor Industry will die if companies like TVR don't start building reliable cars and stop ripping off their customers. Stick with the Rover, they are more reliable and more fun! The home of the boy racers and the rallymen of Wales

and soon to be outlawed by their failure to meet EC emissions targets. So in summary, this wouldn't be such a marvellous business plan for TVR to adopt would it? Mike. Edited by MikeE on Tuesday 13th March 13:38

Hmm, lets have a look, so you drive "Vauxhall Nova Pug 205 Ford Sierra Estate and Classic VW Golf Mk2" - hardly what you would call supporting the British Car Industry then are you?? ================ Graham and Rosie

Classic Golf Mk2 ? Don't think so some how, MK 2 Golfs ar ein the transitional phase of council estate transport to scrap dealer fodder aren't they? Give what's left about 5-10 more year and they might get close to classic.
