SCH2010...Great Venue!

Just arrived back from this years SCH at RAF Cosford, great day out...and nice drive back through the countryside, although it was roasting hot every time I had to stop at lights or roundabouts!

Well done to the organisers, I felt it was one of the best venues we have ever had. Really enjoyed wandering around the museum.

For those of you who are interested, they have an Air Show on Sunday 13th June, I will certainly be going...link below

Just got back home, after a fantastic weekend, a big well done to mark for organising it, I must say its one of the best places I`ve ever camped at, and the good weather was the icing on the cake.

well done mark, and thanks for letting a griff owner join in on the runway

My first S Club and I have to say bloody well done to mark and co for a great day out, I don't think you could have picked a better location or weather, I even enjoyed the extended hoon it was rather interesting.see you all next year.

Had a great day, thanks to all who played a part in organising it. Norman left me in charge of gate duty for a while and carnage was avoided, thankfully.
Got a few red bits, but that's another story.

A big congrats to mark for all the organisation, what a top weekend. Enjoyed playing at being a starter marshall on the runway, managed to get a drive down it in my own car, and also in a speed six tamora which was very quick. Most of the S cars performed really well, one or two drivers need to learn how to change gears YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Someone will come along to name and shame soon. I make no apologies for all the abuse i gave to some of you at the runway start apart from the guy who i suggested would go a lot quicker if he dumped the wife out of the passenger seat. Very sorry for that comment. Top weekend camping, quite a few beers and some good humour. Wish id taken a pic of Tinks in that beautiful bright red chimaera Good lookin guy who owned that chim

Well done Mark (nice to finally put a face to the name) and the other organisers for a superb day out. Top venue, a great group of people and some well turned out S's. I think this winter has been put to good use and the weather today showed them at their best. Did everyone make it back from the hoon?

My First S Club and a great weekend just to add my thanks to all those that organsied/marshalled/cooked and to those on the run from oop North for providing the in journey entertainment whilst putting Jayes car back together.

Must remember that although tempting not to put a bottle of whiskey in next year....

apologies to Tinks and Chrischat for disappearing at the end as I left with Jimed behind his beautiful Griff. Great drive home behind Jim as far as the M6 when the gremlin kicked in and I had to stop... found nothing and carried on without drama even going over the old A6 over Shap and then over Hartside Pass home - :icing on the cake smilie:

It was the perfect TVR event.

Sorry I missed out - I was on the way and my fuel pump packed up near Tern Hill, so I waited 4 hours for recovery. Hopefully see you next year...........

Once again a great event, thanks to those that organised it. The venue was perfect with lots to do and see, I missed the runway action which is a shame as it would have been great to see. I have some video footage of the event and will upload it soon.

The yellow connector has een replaced with individual spade connectors at some point. One of them would seem to be NFG.

The clutch was slipping on the runway (although not too badly as the times were still pretty good) it may need adjusting, if this can be done, as Ian put a new one in during the rebuild.

Like a few others this was my first SCH event and I thought it was great. Many thanks to all of the organising team for doing all of the hard work while we all pitched up and enjoyed ourselves.

What a masterstroke laying on all of that sunny weather though. Any chance you could make the sun shine whitsun week as well?
