I'd give Wildcat a ring, but as I understand it, they are difficult to fit on a Rover engine as they were designed to fit on a Buick engine. Rev will know more though! If you're going for 500bhp then it might be better (although more costly) to pair the Wildcat heads with a Wildcat 6.0L block. I know Carl Hansen runs one in a Tuscan Challenge car in NZ and that's supposed to be north of 600bhp N/A. Looks cracking fun!
Iam selling a set of Ross forged pistons which came out of a 5,000 mile RV8 5 Lt Wildcat engine /setup - if your interested ? - Ebay info:

Not sure 500bhp is easiely obtainable on anything like
a reasonable budget .. cheapest would be super charging.
I do remember one of the drag racers selling an ex wildcat
engine for 60K that had 500+ normally asripated bhp .. then
some more from NO2.
As always with normally asripated - numbers (bhp) are easy to
talk but much harder to achieve.
Only way possible would be 6 litre block, race heads, crazy lift
cam (268 or higher), high cr, TB's and engine management and
even then I suspect 500 bhp would be very hard to achieve.
How does mine run / bhp .. don't know but will let you know soon. It's
nearly finished.

Original scam (I was trying to buy those too) was an address in Anglesey, luckily someone on here recognised them as a picture of his heads. These ones are in Shetlands, which is what started my alarm bells ringing!Poledriver said:
