Landis has snapped -- feel a bit sorry for him but this ain't the way to go...really....

If all that's shown is true (and I assume radioshack has no incentive to publicise false emails) then it looks very much like a breakdown.
What gets me about it all is that throughout his hearings & court cases I actually believed that Landis had been badly treated, mainly on the evidence of the shoddy lab work; if an analytical lab is shown to have poor lab practice & not following regulations to the letter, then I tend to discount all evidence from that source. Which would have meant the case being dismissed, albeit on a technicality.
So given that his levels weren't that high, or at least not enough to make significant differences to his performance, I went along with his claims and probably like thousands of his US fans felt sorry when it all fell apart for him.
But now ? the guy comes out and says "oh, sorry but I was doping all along. I know I started a fighting fund for my legal bills and all my US fans donated cash to clear my name, but really I was just kidding y'all...."
Hmm. He hasn't made it back into top level racing, needs to scrape a living and so is trying this route. Sad. He's just lost all those who supported him through the trials, and I very much doubt he's going to win new fans from those who thought he was doping 4yrs ago.

I think he's dealing with inner demons and probably feels he's being got at by God, just like his parents told him.
Coming from his background I can't help but think the way he was brought up and taught to think means he's now slightly unhinged, if you read about his upbringing and general demeanour throughout his career (which I'm sure you have) you can see cracks appear every now and again where he's a bit...hmmm....odd.
Have to say I've really like him as a rider in the past, still do although I think he's completed foobarred himself now.
It's all well him going on about doping but either way that sport is/was a level playing field and he entered it and "played". Even with the same "assistance" as everyone else he wasn't as dominant as he thought he could be. Because he got caught, and then the hip, he's now thinking that if he can't enjoy cycling at the top then no one else will either.
