So I wanted a new car. I wouldn't be getting another lotus, I've already had 3 in a row. I told everyone this, and no one believed me. So, I went over to porche to buy a Cayman and stopped by B&C on the way.

So, my new car is a new Type 72 Exige S with performance and sports pack and stuff with a level 3 exhaust.

And OMG - it's completely awesome. Obviously I'm still driving it in, but the burbles and pops are sublime. These are nothing compared with the ride and handling though. Exactly how they managed to get it to ride over poor rutted road surfaces better than my elise 111R whilst staying stiffer and flatter is a mystery to me!

The only problem I've got is that with the seat all the way back it squeaks and rattles terribly (the back of the seat seems to touch the harness mount bar, but probably everything else too) so I have to have it one notch forward. Not the biggest deal, but I am 6'4" so the extra half an inch of leg room would have been nice!! Is it fixable or TADTS?

Pretty awesome car though. My girlfriend wants to call it Darth - I have of course explained that only a certain kind of man names his car...

I have only given one of my cars a name. It was a crappy old Ford Fiesta with the name "bago'ste"
and before you ask - yes it did live up to it's name!paperbag

For some reason I find that amusing. Can you get a level 11?

Enjoy your car smile

The volume on my Marshall guitar amp goes up to 11, that's not amusing though!

Lovely choice. Any pictures?
I thought a Type 72 Exige S will look like every other Type 72 Exige or can you have it in another colour to black!

But TBH I am a little envious of the things you can't see (the perfomance pack etc) but yeah new car ownership DOES DEMAND that piccies are provided.

Sorry - you are of course correct. This is now officially a This Thread is Useless Without Pics thread. It was so beautifully clean as well, but it's all been rained on now and therefore requires attention before such a public unveiling!

Anyone have any experience of the seat full back question?

Pics soon.
