Yup, spoke to a friend of the guy who's car was nicked. They said that the police don't reckon it'll be seen again- apparently it's becoming quite common for professional 'gangs' of thieves to target car shows and the like stealing stuff to order.

bds.

Not sure how easy it would be to sell though?

Sadly that's true if you mean the complete car frown In all liklihood it will be broken.

Yeah, you're probably right frown Real shame though, knowing first hand how much effort goes into these cars only for them to be broken up and sold as bits makes me want to do a swear...

A lot of it about recently. I know of a Sunbeam Tiger taken from Enfield Pagent a couple of weeks ago. The guy managed to get it back after a Tiger fan spotted it and alerted him.

(what is it with Essex?)

Time to reintroduce public flogging.

Puts me off doing car shows, not that I've done them for a few years. Unbelievable, sickening, what else can I say? Just hideous, and so sorry to hear that.

As for public flogging, catch the horrible little scrotes and bring it on! I'll drink to that anytime, folks!

A 25 grand car should have a tracker fitted. Costs around 300 quid - I just dont understand it.
