Took voluntary redundancy a couple of months ago - a bit of a risk in the current climate - but I'd really worked myself into the ground.

Took a month off without looking to recharge the batteries and then started the job hunt and secured a role this morning on a bit more money than previously, which helps.

Really happy that the gamble paid off and I got the rest I needed and then a new job when I was ready!

Looking forward to getting started now!

i did the same in december. still unemployed but the interviews i'm getting are much closer to the career i wanted and further away from the one i felt trapped in.

Good for you mate!

Did something similar about ten years ago and never really looked back.

Keep up the good work.

Snap!

Took voluntary 3 months ago, paid off any debt, left with a bit of savings and start at Millbrook proving Ground on Monday, same money as before but i'll be much better off!

It's a good feeling when it works out!
