ML270 spare wheel

Good evening, have just bought a 2004 ML270 (163 model) to tow race car, but it only has a space saver spare wheel, and I’d like to take a proper spare when towing.

I don’t want to fund a very expensive Merc alloy spare, so can anyone please advise where I can buy a cheap 5 hole steel wheel and tyre to fit an M class, size 8½ J x 17 (I think ref H2ET52 is on there at present)?

You should be able to buy a full size steel from a Mercedes Dealer. My father's done it before on numerous occasions when the car's to be used for towing
