No not dead, injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Stabbed in the stomach sky are saying while holding his surgery.

Wiki says it was a 21yo woman, and it's not life threatening.

Apparently David Cameron has offered the woman a seat in the House of Lords.

Oh dear. Much as I hate the Liebour Scum, still doesn't mean they should be stabbed. Some of them should be shot mind.......

That name takes me back! 1999? IR35? At least the attacker doesn't seem to have been a disgruntled IT contractor...

Stephen Timms ... wasn't he the broadband/internet minister person, the one responsible for the travesty that is the stealth tax on phone lines and the Digital Economy bill?

Not funny. He had the largest majority of any MP. He, unlike many, makes himself available to his constituents at any time, probably why he gets so much support.

And no, I'm no Noo Labour supporter.

Just shows the state of this country, 21 year old woman apparently makes out she's gonna shake his hand in his surgery, then stabs him.

No wonder some of us want the rope back.

Surely knives are far more convenient?

I wonder if she was a nutter or some bint he'd been banging.....or both. I do hope he recovers though, being stabbed is not that nice I'd imagine.

I don't suport Labour...BUT I certainly hope the chap makes a swift and full recovery. Ignoring his policies if someone intends and is standing and running as an MP acting for the benefit of people this should not happen.
