Hi all well after selling my 993 widebody S I have now gone and bought a special edition Elise R. I have posted the pics on seloc but for those interested in buying a new elise these special editions offer great value. Personally i prefer the look over the S3 and this one has all the interior / exterior upgrades including full alcantara on doors, sills, dash, tunnell with white stiching, twin airbags, aircon , traction control, leccy windows, probax sport seats, alpine head unit with iphone, & the 2010 dash with rev lights. On the exterior, black diffuser, hardtop, sport pack with upgraded dampers and springs, black forged alloys, touring pack, motorsport ecu,

Very pleased with it so far and now the engine has bed in 600 miles I can start to open her up a bit..

it gets a lot of attention and imho looks a lot more aggressive than the S3 shape..wasnt expecting that induction roar when the second cam comes on..sounds a bit like my last aircooled.

Stunning.

Inside and out.

I'm with you on preferring the S2 to the 'S2.5' as it's becoming known here.

I also have an S2 and I just can't believe how well the design has aged. It's been around for nearly ten years now! No mean feat. You're in for a great summer.

yes keeping her at least untill the warrenty runs out..2 years..dont expect any major issues as it has the toyota block... a lot of extras for the money another reason why i didnt go for the new revision. Now some track days would be good...

Lovely motor mate. I agree about value for money for these special editions,Ive had my 'black, black sc'now for a couple of months and the amount of admiring looks it gets is bloody fantastic, and for the same amount of money,Id only get a basic refreshed sc model.
