Right, I have decided that I would quite like to get a portrait of the OH and myself done, the both of us, if you will.

No problem, there's a local guy with a studio who has done some very good work for a mate's wedding. So I have him an Alexander-Graham only to be told that he would very much like to help out and gave me some (very favourable) prices for a canvas or two. I enquired how much extra it would be to take a digital copy of the print as well.

"Oh no Sir, we'll do all the printing for you" - He wouldn't have any of it. I want a canvas doing but I want the digital file as well. No worries, I thought I'd try another place or two. Same result. They seem to say it as if they're doing me a 'favour'...

Can anyone recommend anywhere that will do this for me in Yorkshire?!

Thanks.

Know a couple of good photographers (*edit - they're Leeds way) who'll give you digital images, but they'd come with a set of t's and c's on usage. Drop me a PM if you'd like their details

I always supply images on disk with a licence agreement. Make your own prints - it saves me the bother!

Unfortuately I'm in Essex...

We had a snapper come to our place. I paid for an entire set of 50 or so RAW and .jpgs so I could self print. She was fine with it - though it cost £800, I got wayyy more than you could get from a studio type deal.

She was very good too.
