360 home maintenance and advice

Daft question maybe. I recently acquired my first Ferrari (360 Manual Modena) and am absolutely amazed at the whole package from the performance to the gawping looks I get!
For a second hand purchase I'm reasonably impressed with the quality of the car. Coupple of things are bugging me though....
1) There is a Black plastic plug missing from the section between the passenger footwell and the door.
Where can I get one of these (for free?).
2) The black trim around the window frames seems to have flaked in certain areas, doesn't look too noticable as looks like it may have been a protective coating or something, still black underneath. Can I do anything about this?
Also I have been informed I need to run the Ferrari hot before I check the oil. Tried but can't have run it long enough as the oil was nowhere on the dipstick, longer dipsticks are not an option.
Any general servicing tips?

mudfish said:You are joking I hope??? With the engine up to temp and running, unscrew the oil filler cap, clean the dipstick then replace it so the cap sits loosely on top of the thread. If you haven't got any oil on it, add some more! Shell Ultra 5W 40 from Shell stations. Don't overfill.

You will propbably not see any oil on the dipstick when the engine is cold. Check it after you've been out for a run and before you put it away.
