Surely this must be a joke?
I was looking at Heathrow on the online version of Google Earth today, and came across this.
I mean, it's a cross between and A380 and 747-400. In VA colours.
Strange?

You might want to check your monitor, that render clearly has a top deck that extends to the base of the tailplane.

It's been sitting there at LHR for years.

I'm not sure what's odder, that someone would make such a good model of a hybrid 747 aircraft or that GE should include it.

It's done using google draw, googles own CAD package. People are allowed to make models and insert them in to google maps with googles permission.

New york and a few other cities are now 3D, thanks to this sort of thing. I'm guessing someone made the plane and requested goole add it, and they saw the funny side.

Maybe there'll be one called 'Slut' parked next to it tomorrow.

Personally I'd prefer Google Earth to be real, not populated with made-up toys.

Maybe they don't want it to be used as a source of 'real information'
