GOT ANY IDEAS

Hello boyz & gals
I've got a major problem that's doing my head in.
Some time ago i got an XJ900F as a project. Well after 1 year it's finnally finished. Problem starts, every 2-3 days the old girl just dies on me . i've replaced the wiring loom, put a new battery & regulator on it and the altenator works fine.Any ideas out there as to what the problem might be. All helpful advise will be greatly appreceiated.A new bike is out of the question! Thanxs.

Have you checked fuel lines etc ?
Also if the fuel has been sat in the tank for a while it can go off.

Thanks Dennis but the fuel lines and feed were all checked when I had the bike stripped down.

tried the ign system? check your coils or the CDI box MAY be faulty??

All checked mate. nothing wrong with the ignition or the CDI. Last resort taken and got it booked into my local Yami dealer for a diagnostic check, can't think whatelse to do.

Hi Folks
Just thought I'd drop you all a line to let you know that the bike's back from the yami dealer and everything checked out fine . been out testing it the past few days and ended up getting a ton 40 out of her . Not bad for an old lady like that! needless to say i'm as happy as a pig in the brown stuff. Once again thanks for the advise.
