I must be going insane? lol keep checking if i'm logged in or not

Have you checked your emails?

They go to your email inbox. There's no private message in the traditional sense like you get on VBulletin forums for example.

Click the Username on the left hand side, then click Email Me on the next page.

Ahh ok .. i clicked on Email me..and it said user does not allow or some other type or msg

So besides that no private msging ?

The user has the option of whether or not to allow other members to email them, if you got that message then they have obviously decided not to allow it.
