Why do they disappear when I log in?

We've changed the default skin (for new members and anyone who isn't logged in) from "PH Classic" to "Big Blue". We haven't changed the preferences of existing members though, which is why it will switch back once you log in.

If you aren't scared of change and fancy making the switch (I'd recommend it, it's faster and better!) then you can do it via your preference page here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/prefs.asp?h=0

(just stay away from "smiley", that is a shocker!)

It appeared in the skin list for a few days once, you could describe it as avant-garde i guess, lots of block colours in what could only have been produced during an fairly intense acid trip

Guessing it's what we using Big Blue have taken for granted for some time.
