The Chinese, Japanese and many French people subscribe to the logic that drinking warm liquid with food assists with digestion. It is also well documented online that in doing just that, there are benefits which can help to reduce the risk of cancer and heart attacks.

Imagine mixing cold beer with warm fatty curry, or pouring iced water on fish and chips! I would rather the fats in my stomach be liquid than solid that's for sure.

What are your thoughts?

i would imagine the hydrochloric acid in the stomach pretty much dispenses with any fatty deposits the lager/curry can muster

I think the way to minimise the risk of cancer and heart attack is to avoid fatty curry and fish and chips!
