rover 216gti question!!
Discussion
Hi everyone!,
I am looking for an 216gti engine. I was convinced that it was an Honda DOHC, 130hp, but it seems that there are a SOHC 122hp too:

www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=27907
so, are both honda engines? And if so, besides de head, is there anything different??? How can I distinguish the cars with one or the other engine??
Be well,

All are honda engines,
all 216 GTi 5dr's are TWIN CAM (DOHC),
3drs Most are SOHC (small rear spoiler)wheel trims or cross spoked alloys, cloth trim only around 112bhp aswell IIRC
there are a limited amount of 216GTi TWIN CAMS (DOHC) which are H & J reg cars with the raised rear spoiler and part leather seats 5 spoke alloys, these cars were superceaded by the 220GTi
note 216's after R Reg are K series
my sad knowledge is a result of this being my rover era
edited to say theses are uk specs
