Watch and listen; 9 seconds in, as Lord Rhumba of Rio spouts his vile nonsense, you can hear the economy hit the buffers.

Lady Meddlesome's speech

The BBC have been told to dress the thing up as a car crash, but we all know the truth. rolleyes

D'you think it was Sue driving? She's had a bad week. Having botched up organising 'plants' in Rochdale and Halesowen, she probably hit the turps a bit too heavy and the, whoops.

Some cracking sentiments, such as:

"The Golf's driver, unemployed Omed Rashid, 27, said he would be voting Labour next Thursday.

Asked later by one broadcaster if the crash was a metaphor for Labour's election campaign, Lord Mandelson said: "No." "

Of course he is voting Labour, who else is going to pay for him to sit on his arse all day?

The Labour campaign is turning into a political version of Spinal Tap biggrin Christopher Guest should remake the movie, the possibilities are endless!

I'm expecting our glorious leader to lose the election only to find out he's popular in Japan. Hopefully he'll head off there on a snot gobbling/speaking tour...

The BBC's James Cook, in Hockley, said it appeared that a dustbin lorry had veered across a roundabout as the occupants shouted in the direction of the Labour event outside the New Bingley Hall community and conference centre.

The posters show slogans like "Don't forget to vote Labour, Mum" and "Vote Labour, Gran" written in colourful, childlike writing. Another says "Vote Labour for us" and makes reference to Labour's pledge to protect child tax credits and the child trust fund.
Those posters are cringeworthy - are these the last squeals of a dying administration or has political debate become infantilised to a new low?

I'd like the Tories to respond with equally moronic posters "Mum, who f8d the economy into the middle of next week?" "Gran, was the last Labour government this bad?".
