How to turn off email notification of replies

I started a thread and stupidly ticked the "notify me by email when someone replies" button. Came to work this morning to see 120 emails in my inbox.

Can I retrospectively remove this feature or remove the whole thread as it's gone well off topic and I have the answer I requested.

At the bottom of the email you should see an unsubscribe option - if you click that it will stop the notifications.

thanks for that, after 150 emails this morning I was getting a little desperate.
