I'm expecting the Tamron 70-300mm to struggle with distance from track but a few friends are going so should be fun, maybe see some PHers there on the Sunday?

I'll be there (in another capacity than spectator)

Best bet for track action - unless they've changed it - with that lens is down the bottom end of the circuit on the entrance to Club corner. You used to be able to get up the side of the grandstand and is one of the few places you can see over the debris fencing. Another option - if they are in use - are the grandstands on the inside of the circuit just after Copse Corner (the first corner)

Dont forget that it will be the new Arena (Grand Prix) Circuit in use for the first time, so a lot of the traditional veiwing spots on the Priory complex will not be of any use.

Looks like i'll be having a run down for another day of lugging a stupidly heavy camera bag around a Circuit.

Why do i do it ? biggrin

I thought it was good, I got a good sneaky photo spot under the bridge before the complex. Damn those astons are loud!
