Around 17mins 20 secs. Blue pan that he browns the meat in. It looks good, anyone know what it is?

Cheers,

Can't view the video, but it might be one from an Italian company called Moneta - Ihave a set of pans by them, blue exterior, cream ceramic lining, utterly brilliant non-stick to start with, but they haven't lasted at all well. Pretty though.

looks like hard anodised aluminium exterior, some sort of ceramic/non-stick interior in pwoder blue (not ghey at all) and polished metal handle with (is that a) rubber insert...

not one I recognise....but a few minutes with google and:

They're Green Pans

http://www.green-pan.com/cookware/intro.asp

ETA specifically looks like the Vienna collection open 'frypan' (20cm)

'Healthy and eco-friendly'?

Bullst. You cook fried food in it and emit carbons every time you use it!

Not having anything 'eco' in my house thanks.

Thread resurrection!!!

Just knew i'd get stiffed by buying anything claiming to be "Green"

Don't buy a Green-Pan they are a crock of muck, I bought one and believed all the guff about the high tech coating when I got the pan a few months back it worked fine, the pan is well constructed thick base and a nice solid rubberised handle.

The coating is supposed to be non-stick and handle very high temps, the temp thing is true but the non stick is just the opposite.

When used for the first few weeks it was a joy to use, but after a short while the non-stick got worst and worst, I can't even fry an egg in it now! no matter what oil or butters used the egg will stick almost instantly and will stick and leave residue sticking to the pan, there is no way you can turn the egg over and 10times out of 10 the egg yolk will break when trying to lift from underneath.
The same with frying bacon the pan goes black as if carbonised this is also the same when doing a veg stir fry with olive or veg oil. Some maybe thinking the heats to high its not, tried this pan at all temperature ranges.

The pan has been cleaned with only washing up liquid and the sponge and not the green nylon scourer side, the pan coating still looks brand new the only utensils its had are all wooden.
I cannot stress how crap this pan becomes, decided to get a De-Buyer blue steel pan.
Do not buy you will eventually be sorely dissapointed, Green my fat arse! furious

This has clearly pissed you off. I won't be buying one after your sticking rant.

Seriously though, it's not acceptable to degrade as quickly as that. Send it back to the manufacturer.

Non-stick related tatters!
