Maybe I'm a bit late with this, but I never new the Project Gotham Racing 2 for the Xbox included the Norschliefe! Might have to get myself one!

Anyone played it? Ben Lovejoy's report is glowing realism and from a non-gamer!

That is very interesting. Would like to try it. Havn't done GPL for a while, still havn't cleaned a lap without crashing.......think I can go faster in the Celica, which incidentally is now Ring ready with different shocks, sway bars, exhaust and steering alignments. Any idea on dates for a pilgrimage ?

I have PGR2, a very good game. It's very difficult if you decide to complete the game at it's hardest level (platinum) it will probably take weeks if you get around to it. The nurbugring track is the complete one. XBOX live is supposed to be very good for it, although i haven't used mine yet.

We will be swingin' by the Nurburgring on the Monday on the way back from Hockenheim (assuming it is open to the public on that day). I am planning on taking the Z around for at least one lap, hope you Viper drivers will too.

Count me in but I don't want to be such a woose this year.

Enjoyed Joels ride in the Toyota as a passenger exciting, with Graham cool and calculated, different styles but both quick......yes we must go back.

Being a woose means you survive to drive another day. If I'm on the Ring in my Viper, I'll be a woose too !!!
Now the Celica is a different story

Nicely said Joel - taking the MR2 Turbo round was *completely* different to the Viper. Much as I loved the car, they can be replaced. The Viper is too special to risk a visit to the armco!

Bought an Xbox yesterday and PGR2 - Norschleife circuit is locked! Will have to play all weekend now to unlock it

Finally unlocked the Nürburgring circuit at the weekend. Joel - it is SO realistic in almost every detail - just don't take the speeds as actual around the bends as they are a bit on the high side

Impossible to keep it in the banked section of the Karussell, and one wheel on the grass normally leads to a date with the Armco. Great way to learn the track and even the best lines. Glad I've driven it for real as learning each bend on the Xbox would take some dedication. Night and fog modes are interesting!

Shame I get beaten online by 12 year olds though Anyone else online, look out for me 'GTS Viper'

Thanks Graham, I'm keen to see this, is it available for PC. Any plans for the Ring this season, is Simon taking the Caterham ?

Only on Xbox I'm afraid, but look at the link on the original post to see some screen shots.

Hope to get to the 'ring sometime this year although nothing firm yet. Simon is racing in Europe this year and may try and combine with that...
