Blowin hot'n cold

Forgive me for posting this in here but the other areas don't seem to talk tech'.
Our little shopping trolley (fiat pantso) runs OK but suddenly decided that it would not deliver hot air from the heater, then it did, and then a hour or two later it did'nt and so on. Temp is fine and engine runs OK, waters in the rad'and no leaks. I can't make it out. Please can a good ole PHr assist with some advise and how to fix?
