LPG Racing

Anyone heard of any LPG racing cars being developed? Just wondered as I heard a while ago about a diesel race car being made. Considering LPG is greener than diesel I wondered if anyone had considered using it for racing (presuming you don't lose much power over U/L). Organiser of events like Gp1 touring cars could even give special concessions to lpg cars. It would certainly make the 4mpg racers cheaper to run!!

Vauxhall ran one in the Vectra series that accompanied the BTCC. Acquitted itself quite well if I recall. WR are also planning on entering an LPG car at Le Mans this year, though whether it gets through pre-qualifying remains to be seen.
