Baby in the Tiv

Some of you on here know that I was expecting a baby. Well just to let you know she was born at 4.02am on Tuesday morning after a 46 hour labour.

Put the baby seat in the Griff today and took the baby out for a spin. I'm sure a saw that trade mark TVR grin developing!

Dan Jnr. was born a little over 3 weeks ago, but it only took Mrs. Dan 11 hrs from first contraction. 20 hrs before the little fella was born she was on the TVR Stand at the Bristol Classic car show!

Unfortunately the Griff MOT expired on the day he was born (it's being done this week along with a service) so, so far the chap hasn't experienced the delights of being a TVR passenger.

Gabby went in the Griff in her first month (roof on), waited til she was 6 months before we had a VERY sedate drive up the road with the roof off - she loved loved it

All you need now is a PH sticker for the front of the pushchair

A wonderful feeling I've got three little ladies now and the novelty's wearing off! (only joking!) They can all recognise a TVR when they see one and the youngest is only 2!

Enjoy the next two weeks when junior seems like the perfect baby sleeping half the time - true sleep deprivation hits after that

Speaking as a father of four - the first 32 years are the worst.

Don't worry about the 46 hours of labour, after the first one it's like shelling peas.

For the first three of four months after I got married I used to wake up, find someone in bed with me and think I got lucky. From the night our first came home I knew I was a father.

The children kept my marriage going. My wife always reckoned that if we got divorced I'd get custody of them.

All the best for the exciting time ahead for the pair of you.
