Don't think this one has worked Ian. Far too much distortion and the light is terrible, although that could be massive vignetting in post?

Yeah, sorry Ian, but I think you need to get the pole further away from the car and use a longer focal length. Also, the angle is quite boring!

I think a polariser would help with the blown out windscreen too..

Interesting. How long's the rig pole?
I quite like the distortion. I can't read the exif, but 10mm lens?

It is at 10mm and my rig has 4x 4ft alluminium poles but I was only using 3 of them

Here is one more..less distortion. I have not finished the PP/cloning yet.

I think that it is the angle to a certain extent.
If you had a bit more of the front of the car in, and possibly got lower I think that there would be a big improvement.

I'll post up some examples when I get a chance later smile

Nice. Where did you get the poles?
George, are you still using screwfix aerial poles - are they rigid enough?

I like this, in my opinion the distortion looks quite good on this photo. I couldn't get no-where near as good a photo as this!

Cheers George. Finally at the point of rigging up after talking about it for ages. Thought I might get the Hague SM11 system as I like the idea of the small adjustable lengths on the suckers for increased up/down angling, then add the aerial pole to give me added length as an extra (or two) as they are cheap enough. Should cover me for close and far work then.

Last one is best. Bit more work on the front wing to get rid of the rig reflection?

Great photos.

IMO the tax disc should be lost.., a bit distracting, still, great pics.
