It's a bit odd really, not one single plane is anywhere in UK airspace!

Nothing, not even military planes or helicopters.

There's a good few private planes flying about here...

The military are pissing about with 2 apaches and a chinook about half a mile away

I live near a small airport (Durham Tees Valley/Teesside) Normally hear a few planes, helicopters etc. Today it has been silent. Quite odd.

I guess it depends on what height the aircraft fly at. Having said that the news here has just said that all the air ambulances in the east of England are grounded. Possibly a bit of an over reaction...

Quite fitting on the back of the news that The City of Edinburgh(flight009 that went through a volcanic ash cloud over Jakarta in 1982) is being broken up and made into keyrings!
