So what's the score?
Discussion
I'm only a few weeks away from having to buy 4 new rubber bands
and have already priced up the Toyos. Then out of the blue I've read a couple of threads claiming that Goodyear F1's are the new flavour of the month and are 'allegedly' now standard issue on cars coming out of the factory
- so what's the score then??

Only that I can also confirm, from what I know, that the factory 'will' be using Goodyear F1's from now on.
Alan.
Good thread - makes a change.
It is very interesting if Goodyears will take over from Toyos. Remember that TVR have done a deal with Toyo to supply TVR/Toyo branded tyres through the franchised dealership network. This was just about a year ago IIRC.
This generates more questions that answers if it is the case, and I remember seeing that new Tuscan Ss come with Goodyears now.
I've no idea what is going on, but would be similarly intrigued to find out.

If this is the case, why?. Are the Goddyear's better tyres or are they just cheaper for the factory to buy?
The F1s do seem to come out top in tyre tests, but they are a bit pricier than Toyos.
Are they sticking with the same sizes on the Tuscan, or have they reverted to 35s in the F1?
