I've seen this 'sold via Pistonheads' twice so far, it's number 008 T25 SC.

Who on earth put that interior in a green car. That is awful!
That explains it.Jim Clark's type 25 from that classic racing era, the 60's, is the car the Elise int' in based on. [awkward cough] I took delivery of an Elise 25 SC last year

I was wondering the same thing myself. I can only Imagine that whoever wanted it no longer does. Or the dealer could be using a reduced price vehicle to drum up business for the other cars he has in stock.;)
I was tempted with this car myself but was put off with the thaught of everyone asking why the car looks the way it does.

Having been into Grange Lotus I know that it is a stock car they have had for a while so that will be why it keeps getting discounted.
I used to work for a car dealer and there are very clear write down policy's so I guess this is why it is getting cheaper. It will be a 2008 car even though it is registered as a 59 plate.
It is a bargain at that price though!!! Good buy for someone and as they are a 'new' Lotus dealer they will probably be willing to deal further.

I test drive that car 6weeks back while over trying to decide whether to go or an exige or elise. Very nice car but green is not for me. Tony told me that it had been discounted as they thought they had sold it only for the buyer to tell a lot of lies about his trade in, if i recall rightly, and the sale was cancelled.
