New Camera Cannon PowerShot A480
Discussion
Thanks for the advice on this thread
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... you recomend me a compact&mid=382
But I did as most people and ignored all the advice and bought something else
I didn't need lots of features that I probbably would not use, I just wanted a small point and shoot
Anyway this is what I bought

Its tiny, a third of the size of my old 2mp Samsung, which is great for slipping in a pocket. Had a play with it today with the supplied memory card and I am very impressed with the pictures.
Where is the best place to buy memory cards. The instructions say that a 2gb card will take 749 pictures which is more than enough. It takes the following memory cards:
SD
SDHC
MMCplus
HC MMC plus
what do I go for?

I always use Sandisk Extreme cards personally and have never had a problem (runs to touch nearest piece of wood (not that sort you pervs)). ParkCameras currently have 4GB ones at £16.99 and 8GB at £28.99. Both are SDHC.
Cheers just bought a 4GB one for £16.49 including VAT and P&P Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
