One of my biking buddies has ordered the wrong forks for his bike, and is now the proud owner of a set of Fox Float RL, but with a tapered tube going from 1.5 - 1 1/8. Now, as its an internet purchase, returning and getting replacements is a reasonably drawn out affair, so can he get the steerer replaced? I know you can buy kits for either Manitou or Marzocchi forks, but don't think you can for Fox. I've bet him a case of beer on this, so its important!

Not an expert, but I know the stearer/crown/stanctions are a single unit on 36's, on and they're £225 from Mojo. :-(

Ta v much - I reckon he'll go for the hassle of exchange and coughing up $40 for a case of Coopers Pale Ale biggrin
