190E owner introduction

I can't believe I've never ventured onto this sub-forum. Anyhow, I have a 190E that I'm very attached to. After spending all day yesterday restoring it to it's usual glory after winter (it lives outside and is used every day) I took a load of pics and thought you guys might appreciate them. Merc Page. The car is a bog standard 190E 2.0. It was originally a garage queen for about the first 13 years or so only doing 20,000 miles. After that it was bought by a Merc enthusiast who ran it for a year putting another 6k on that. We've had it since and it's just rolled over 50k. Still looks good mind you!

Cracking car you have there, I have always been a BIG fan of the 190 since owning a low mileage 2.0 manual a few years back, and have even caught myself having the odd look on ebay to get a nice example. Problem is it would live in the garage next to everything else! If someone said to me, I'll give you £1000 to buy a car to drive around the world in, its what i'd go for without question. They don't build em like that anymore!
