reccommend me a detail sander
Discussion
bosch blue ones are excellent - about £100 though if money is tight - no idea if BQ stock them though, but they take one hell of a pounding.
I had a green bosch mouse sander which was ok, but the power let it down as it wasn't variable and under powered - ok for lightweight use though £40 i think

Have a look at this clicky
I've no idea how good it is, but they were flogging them on one of the shopping channels last week and it looked impressive. It uses vibration rather than oscillation, so you can get right into the corners when you are sanding. It may also be marketed under another name

That looks very much like the Bosch Multitool. I bought one for its 'get out of jail free' woodcutting ability, but recently needed it as a detail sander for a model boat I'm making. It was excellent at the task - better than the 1/3 sheet orbital sander I normally use, and the options for fitting other tools may be useful to you in the future.I've no idea how good it is, but they were flogging them on one of the shopping channels last week and it looked impressive.
