Colin Mcrae Dirt

I have a PS3,and have only recently managed to go online.i can't seem to go race online with dirt,it tries to log on but just says not available try again later,every time.is this down to the fact Dirt2 is out and therefore they disbanded the first one?
i have been able to go online with COD2 and have updated the lastest software.
any ideas?

I'm the same, recently got the ps3 and playing Colin Mcrae Dirt.

Found out the servers have been shut down so you can't play online

It is a great game,i love the pikes peak hill climb in the toyota calice.
anyway,if the servers are shut (gutted) for dirt.are they working for dirt2?
anyone played it? any good?.
