That looks big enought o be the 928 replacement they've been talking about. Isn't it going to be a 998 or something?

ahh, photoshop is a powerful tool. But it must only be used for good (putting your gf's face on a supermodel's porno shots), and never for evil (creating the "next" 911 by chopping up pics of the current 911 and throwing in pieces from the carrera gt).

Ist is in fact a photoshop pic. 1999 made Porsche a series for future with the Question: How long can we sell the 911? A picture like this was offered in ams Auto Motor und Sport..

Dunno. I actually think it looks a bit bland --somehow the 911 DNA seems only just to be hanging on by its fingertips...

manek, 90% of that dna was left in the 993. The gradual changes now just seem like little nudges forward.

All this comments are right. But this design will not produced, while the TUV will not accept this big wholes in the side.

Dunno what the problem with holes in the side is, unless they are caused by rust!

The Ferrari 360 has got holes in the side, etc etc - why wouldn't it get passed TUV Frankonia, please tell?

is there a maximum air intake area? Surely if they mesh over it it makes no odds anyway....

to domster.
The Ferrari 360 got the specification while the car is not produced in Germanyand the holes are smaller.
Porsche will have no chance to bring a design like this on market.
TÜV will bring 100 safety-aspects and so on.
You also have lots of trouble with a low-cost-carprojekt only in Germany.
If you build a for yourself you need a ´Einzelgutachten` This paper from a technical instidution about the static for the chassis and suspension will cost 20.000 Pounds. Then you need a crastest in front and one in side.
A lot of cars and bikes you can buy all over the world are not to get in Deutschland.
I tried it five years ago. It is impossible. TÜV dont want this cars on the roads in Germany. U.K. ist a pardies in this way.

It's been a long time since a modern Porsche has looked so good; let's hope it won't evolve like the Boxster did: nice prototype but not such a nice car at the end of the production line...

Cheeky bugger !

Don, you 'old 'im, I'll hit 'im.....

Thom, all they did was move the air intakes up a bit. Probably so it didn't clean the gutters as you drove it. Such is the induction system of these fine cars.
