I thought I'd get in nice and early with this photo of the Scott Monument in Edinburgh:

I got some really funny looks from people walking past on Princes Street while I shot that.
To be fair, the camera was only a couple of inches away from that pillar on the right and pointing straight up (at 11mm!) And I kept shuffling around for ages to get the tower on the right to line up just right in the arch... So maybe it did look a bit odd
Still, it turned out exactly like I wanted, so screw them

One of our holiday snaps from Talisker Bay on the Isle of Skye, Mrs Baz was a bit behind as we crossed the rocks to the beach - I shot the pic and only at night did we realise it was one of those weird perspective shots which makes things look out of proportion (I named the file Mirelle from Lilliput due to how small she looked on the rocks)...

It works better with the bigger version of the pic...but obviously the rules will prevent that being entered, but here's the link anyhoo:-

Yeah,
Paull, stunning shots, maybe a tad cliche, but I can't help but love the long exposure pier into the water compo! Would love to have a couple in the portfolio!
RG, I like Number 2 also. Might work in BW with a contrast punch?
Jackal, I like your 2nd shot here... very moody - can you link to a bigger rez?
