Me and my mate are going to Le Mans in 2005, but after reading all the websites recommended in my other thread, we're now more confused than ever.

So, I was wondering if some experienced LM'er was booking tickets, campsite etc. - would they do the same for us, or let me know what they were booking and we'll book it aswell. We could then drive down and meet up and have ourselves a little convoy over to France.

So if you fancy a Cerb blatting along with you, give me a shout. I wouldn't normally ask something like this, but I'm scared shitless I forget something or book the wrong dates/wrong campsite etc as I'm a complete noobie and the other websites recommend taking an experienced LM'er.

BTW, would have loved to have gone this year, but wife has already booked summer holidays

Hi Byff

Sorry to ask, but are you in the TVRCC?

Many regions have organised trips each year where
all the arrangements are made for you, tickets, camping,
grandstands, convoys all included!

Details generally go out about November in the club's
Sprint magazine, but speak with your local region or
even join in with another if yours has no plans.

Hope it helps a little!

Alternatively use one of the travel firms.

I'm sure others on here can recommend firms but we've used Continental Car Tours for the past 5 years and have no complaints and the price is not that bad either.

Indeed!

We buy our tickets for everything in bulk (around 50) during July/August/Sept. We usual close all bookings by about Oct, otherwise it gets too carried away.

Remind me nearer the time because for 2005 we might do other things instead for a break from LM.

Although the other things consist of Monaco GP and the Historic LM as well as a Euro drive. Hardly a break!
