Best cycle rack for a MK1 Ford Focus?

I'm scratching the crap out of my GF's bike whilst loading it into the back of my car, and it's an utter ballache when going to Llandegla to stop my car getting filthy, so I'm looking at a bike rack...

What's the best type of rack? Looking at the Saris Bones... any good?

I use a Thule on my Polo, excellent with no straps to worry about. One of these.
