Dodge Viper vs F16

It's all a bit of a laugh for Captain Glen 'Nugget' Richards and Dan 'Scrappy' Potas.

So, which won?

Just another example of Dodge shamelessly trying to copy the Cerbera vs Tornado race....

On second thoughts, don't want to get Guibo going again - forget that.

It was a wet day when the cerbie raced the Tornado, so needless to say it was the jet that won, hands down.

Have driven a 4.5 Cerbie and am lucky enough to fly a tornado for a living. Sorry, Tornado just a little bit more exciting!! Sadly the pictures link on the above site does not work. Any ideas??????

"We're proud of the Dodge Viper's performance capabilities, and this was a chance to race for bragging rights against one of the few things capable of matching the Viper's acceleration. "

They could take it against a TVR Speed-12...

not a huuge surprise that given the weight of an F16!...anyway - Im sure the 'cerbie vs tornado' wasnt the first of these...remember watching a younger JC race an Aston off against a torndao many moons ago...

It's also a bit of an inane comparison - jet engines don't really work that well until relatively high speeds. Their thrust is against air - doesn't give quite the grip tarmac does for a quick launch

I remember Aston Vantage vs plane, are you sure it wasn't Tiff driving?

Nope. Wouldn't want that to happen.
