Should be some jets around.

Also, worth swinging by Waddington (granted I'm biased!) as Nimrod R1 is due to fly at least twice that day, along with Sentinel and Sentry movements plus a few daily visitors (mainly rotary).

Remember, it's the MR2 that went out of service last week - Waddo's mighty R1s are flying plenty right now!

Thanks Lee we'll make that our second stop. Used to visit Binbrook a few times a year and you could bet that on at least one visit they were off in Cyprus and their was only the QRA on the base.

Forecast is good for Thurs as well (assuming you trust the met office!) so fingers crossed you get a good day.

I'll check the weekly prog when i get a chance and see if I can get you a bit more (unclassified) detail.

ETA: All Coningsby Sqns showing as at home. There's an exercise on the following week so Thurs may see a bit of a 'surge' getting jets ready - they're often quieter on a Friday in an ex build-up.

Yeah. They often have the Lanc outside running the Engines. Last time I was their one of the Hurricanes was doing circuits. Cant beat that Merlin sound.
