Brake pad change any advice?
Discussion
Ok,I know this question has been asked a thousand times before, but now I'm interested 'cause I wanna change mine on my S2,what's best out there guys, for general road use,and a little track day play, nothing too serious.
I have had Greenstuff pads before but to be honest I don't rate then at all,so I'm now looking at Pagids, but I'm open to any good advice you might have, thanks.

Pagid's RS-42's (Blue) on Elise Parts too (Best price I have found).
Really good on the road, brillant from cold (Amazing when warm), and Fantastic on the track. Quite Aggresive on the disc but last well and well worth the money. Also no brake squeal
They feel progressive aswell unlike some performance pads. I am running a full set on a 111R.
Let me know if you need any more answers.

Pagids RS 42 (the blue ones) are the best fast road / slow track.
Pagids RS 14's are great for a short time but then a lot of people (me inc) start to get pad transfer problems.
I am just switching now to Crabon Lorraine pads which seem to be the new "wonder" pad for fast road and track. Many people gave given them a very good report.

Do you replace all 4 or do you think you can run Carbon Larraine on the front and Pagid on the back ..........Pagids RS 14's are great for a short time but then a lot of people (me inc) start to get pad transfer problems.

I've just been investigating this myself.
I have RS 42's on the back and RS14's on the front.
Was going to change the fronts only to Crabon Loraine which is maybe Ok for road use but for track use better to change all 4 as balance will change.
So for the sake of £100 have ordered front and back.

Good man I thought that might be the right answer - think I will stick with ye olde Pagid's then - Cheers! I have RS 42's on the back and RS14's on the front.

Greenstuff were never really any good for the Elise. Also all the EBC formulas changed a year or so ago. I've just had my OEMs replaced with Yellowstuff - as good as warmed up OEM from cold IMHO and a hell of a lot better when warmed up.I have had Greenstuff pads before but to be honest I don't rate then at all,so I'm now looking at Pagids, but I'm open to any good advice you might have, thanks.
