How much to add a window to house?
Discussion
Is it listed? sounds like it might be?
You also need building regs now for any change or upgrade to windows? Easiest way to do it would be to get a Fensa registered company in.
I'd guess a couple days labour - £600. not sure how much the windows can be bought for, couple hundred quid a unit? Probably want a skip aswell for the rubbish, so another £130. Lintels are fairly cheap.
That's quite a conservative guess. There will be loads of extras like sand, cement etc for making good. Lots of things can add to it, like the size of the windows and scaffolding depending on what level they're on.
You could get a stonemason in to do the structural work and to build up the reveals nicely, then get some glaziers in just to fit the windows.
I wouldn't be suprised if it went to £2k+
