Hi All,

Visited Selby Game Fair yesterday and there was a stand selling this:

http://www.firefoods.co.uk/Nitro_hot_chilli_sauce....

Tried a little tiny drop at their stand on a piece of cream cracker and my God it was hot - couldn't feel my right side of my lower lip or tongue for about 15 minutes afterwards. So I have bought two bottles .

I usually have a splash of chili sauce in my tin of tomato soup so put 1/2 a level teaspoon of this in at luchtime and lets just say its very very hot. redface

I can also recommend Aldi's Peri-Peri Pork Sausages if you like hot stuff!

I had a bottle of 'Dave's Insanity Sauce' when I was at uni. If it recall correctly it said to use max one drop as an additive.

When we first got it, it was very very hot. But after a couple of months I swear it wasn't as spicy.

With that heat, only 1ml and £245 the phrase 'Use Sparingly' does not really cover it!

I got a bottle of Mad Dog 357 limited edition with bullet keyring for Christmas off a mate.

Had a large gathering boxing day of family and a couple of friends, including the one who bought me the mad dog, and I was nagged all day to crack it open.

Anyway, when there was just a few of us left I relented and opened it. Myself and one mate had a blob the size of a pea on a piece of meat, by brother meanwhile in usual fashion dolloped it on like it was ketchup!

Cue me and my mate downing milk, retching, generally rolling around on the floor in pain.

My brother meanwhile ran upstairs, locked himself in the bathroom and stayed there moaning, groaning and throwing up for the next 2 hours!!! Funny in hindsight, but I honestly thought we were going to have to call an ambulance at the time!

Anyway, good fun, but be VERY carefull with this stuff.

I did take it on my stag do recently, it was a laugh, but I made sure no one went OTT as my brother did previously.

My brother was ranting about how it could send you into some form of shock or other, I'd guess that 16million stuff could do some serious damage.

When you get to that level of Scoville Units, it warns you on the bottle not to spill on naked skin.

Water is the worst thing. Should have munched the rest of the bread sticks or find some proper bread. Milk is also good, something to do with the fats in the milk.

I have a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce, which I use quite frequently. It must be 10 years old, and is still only half empty. A drop of sauce still has the power to overwhelm anything it is added to. The bottle of Mad Dog 357 remains sealed.
