Cleaning Leather Seats

Recently bought a CLS 500. Car is spotless bar a slightly dirty drivers seat. The leather is beige. Recommendations on a good leather cleaner? Thanks.

I have also used Autoglym Leather Cleaner with good results. They also help to condition the leather as well as get the dirt out.

Get a 'Magic Cleaning Sponge' about £4 from most supermarkets (Asda) You will be totally amazed with the result, although you will end up doing the whole interior with it. For more details do a search on Magic Sponge...

Best stuff to use in my opinon id the Meguiars Gold Class Leather Care (I'm sure that's what it's called).
It comes in a black bottle and can even be bought in Halfords.

I used to use AutoGlym leather care on my old CLK.

When I got my new CLK, I used the AutoGlym stuff and I nearly crapped myself.
Once dry, it left cloudy marks all over my black Nappa leather!

After some really careful and patient wiping, it thankfully came off.

Don't know what the hell caused it.

So I went and bought some new stuff. Which ended up being the Meguiars stuff.

It's very good and has not made me crap myself.

Seconded on the Meguirs leather cleaner, does a cracking job, although the detailler who looks after my car recommends the baby wipes.

Yeah, I too have heard that.

I just wasn't sure if they were able to offer the same sort of contioning and moisturising properties than the Meguiars leather care.

I'll keep at the Meguiars for now.

Gonna treat the leathers later, actually.

It's pretty logical, really - baby wipes are meant to moisturise baby's bums. These are delicate and, er, not dead. Should therefore be good on car seats. Which are dead

the baby wipes are just for cleaning, I would then apply leather conditioner just like we did with our child, they had a smell like a new car..
