alarm re set

Argggh

Just been putting in my 'glow fuses' and set the alarm off.

Stopped the siren but when I replaced the fuse the hazzard warning lights wont stop.

I have tried all the combinations of plipper, lttle stick thing etc.

Can anybody tell me how to re set it (pm if felt necessary)

disconnected battery, but need to sort it so I can put the car away

Just done the classic as well.

Shut the door with the battery disconected.



But I have sorted that, and I am back in.

I have tried disconecting each terminal of the battery and pressing the plipper instantly No result.

Door locks clicked and hazzards stopped for a second then started again.

Anyone out there ?

Try disconnnecting the ecu, waiting 60 secs, then reconnect and press alarm...should re boot it.

Carries on flashing even when ECU disconected !

I'm sure I had this problem (many years ago when I had a griff) and it was reset in that way. As I recall the alarm normally resets itself when the battery is reconnected by arming and disarming.
On the later cars there is an alarm box that needs to be disconnected / reconnected to reset the alarm but not sure if there is one on a Chimaera or where it is.
Sorry not to be able to help further. Only other thing to do so that you can put it away is to remove the fuse (temporarily)that supplies the hazards.

I switched the hazzard warning lights off !

I must have accidently pushed the button !

I did check this but incorrectly thought in was on. doh !
