Square dining tables
Discussion
So, I have been looking for a dining table recently and need some ideas on the best place to look.
The best I have found so far at Lombok. Wandered into the tottenham court road store and found the one below. It's a nice table, 160 x160.

Now, are Lombok actually a good brand or should I be looking elsewhere. In terms of the colour of the table, it has to be like the above and square to sit 6 or 8 people.
Appreciate your help folks.

In my experience, very cheaply-made tat knocked-up in the far east (by child labourers paid a pittance). Sold to people who like a certain 'ethnic charm', looking for something to fit in their sandalwood-scented Islington 'pad', strewn with balinese birthing blankets. They are sold as complete pieces and will return to a kit form over a period of a couple of years. (In that sense, they are the complete opposite of Ikea.)
Just a personal opinion.

Interesting to note, certainly from looking at the table it was very solid with no evidence of being flimsy!
Not necessarily flimsy. Just badly-made. Look for nails not straight, screws that have clearly been hammered in, poorly-fitting joints, non-square construction etc etc etc. All covered by the word 'charm', I've no doubt. (Or 'Poor workmanship', if you're being honest.) Oli.
