When taking pictures indoors, as there is no bracketing on my phone camera, I was wondering if it's possible to remove the "fog" effect you sometimes get near windows? I have PSP X2 and PSE9 on the pc, and PS CS3 on the mac.

An example picture is below

Thanks in advance smile

You can fix some of that with processing, real blown data is unrecoverable ( max in each colour channel) the over exposed/hazy stuff can be recovered a fair bit with some carefull photoshopery

maybe try to use your hand as a "lens hood" to cover direct powerful light.

I'm afraid what's blown is blown. As for 'fog' - well it's just damage limitation.

Thank you - I guess the question should be, which filters / actions / sliders are best to use, so that I can try and fix up a batch of them? Without wishing to appear ungrateful, the example image was to show my problem, if that makes sense?

Muchus gracias in advance smile

well - this doesn't look like one-in-a-lifetime shoot. so just take a normal camera and shoot again smile . as Carter said - you can't actually make something from nothing.

Image>Adjustments>Shadows/Highlights

If it is possible to recover it, you will see detail appear where the highlights were when you increase the Highlights %.
