Good to see some S owners and 'wnat to be owners' today

I'm not sure how many TVRs were there, 77 or thereabouts, terrfic variety too.

That Tuscan is perhaps the most fantatsic car I can recall seeing in a long life of seeing fantastic cars. I don't think I've ever seen a car 'that' good - and there were many fantastic cars today.

Hi Dave. Would have liked to have had a run down to PPC, but circumstances dictated otherwise!! Looked like a good day out judging by the photos I've seen.
Still patiently looking for a V8S, maybe the better weather might 'encourage' owners to consider selling their pride and joy - but maybe not!! Might have to start considering a Chimaera...................

That green V6 you photo'd, the engine bay was awesome!

My V8 looked nice in your photo, but again when next to the red Vixen it looked really dull!

Hi Mike, yes twas a great day out 68 TVRs and a number of other interesting ones. 3 V8S owners there, only one V8S, 2 S3 owners but 1 S3.

There aren't many V8S's that come up for sale really, but the V6 maybe sounds better, drive really well, great fun and cost less. A really good option (I wish I hadn't sold mine ).

There aren't many V8S's that come up for sale really, but the V6 maybe sounds better, drive really well, great fun and cost less. A really good option (I wish I hadn't sold mine ).

...maybe should have 'gambled' with the high miler in Leic., but decided to wait for the 'right one' to turn up wanting a lot less (make that no!!!) work - could be wishful thinking I guess! :-) Tried contacting the guy in Blackpool area who advertised his V8S on here and TVRCC site late last year - but no reply, suspect he's sold it! There have been several good looking late S's for sale, but were at extreme ends of the country!!

Great news about Cornwall, big convoy, caravans are £40 a night, TVR menu at pub (Griff Grill etc), beach 5 mins walk away, ace company - good choice

Camp site is very good too, excellent facilities.

TBH Mike, it's best to wait for one you really want. Sadly there aren't many and you may not get 'the' colour, or 'the' interior, but you must go for one you really fancy. Better to wait a while, keep attending meetings (TVRCC, PH, whatever) and posting here. It will happen for you at some point

If the wait is too long, consider one of the other models perhaps

Thanks for the 'level - headed' advice Dave! As you say, the only real limiting factor is supply and demand!!
