takes a while to get going, but thought it was a good watch. Episode one focuses entirely on latitude. The bulb test was the most interesting one to me, and you could really see how superior film is- you can even see the finger prints on the bulb glass- with the dslrs, the bulb just turned into a white orb.

but you have to admit that what these little cameras can do is amazing ! . + would you spend a looooot of money just so people would see how amazing the bulb is or would you focus on the story etc. although yes - film is the GOD!

This one about sensitivity. Film doesn't look so superior in this one . Although things get a little ugly at 102000 ISO .

Shame they haven't put a Red in the mix though. Looking forward to episode 3. Keying test will be interesting (bad I'm guessing). But, given that these are first generation cameras, I think the writing is on the wall for film.

Reminds of the gag doing the rounds on professional forums when digital stills started to get serious and some of the luddites keep banging on about digital never going to be good as film:
